Hello to all, March has been a good month with a lot more dry fly action especially on the Motueka.
The weather has been exceptional with minimal rain and lots of sun. This has made the rivers low and clear, so your casting has to be accurate and your presentation good or the fish are spooking.
In saying that if you get it right they are still hungry and willing to eat.
We are running into the end of the season now and it will be interesting to see if we have a few more fish pushing up into the tributaries coming into April.
